In the first quarter of 2024, the top five News and Magazines apps on Android in Greece experienced diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides key insights into their performance.

Google News - Daily Headlines saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at 546 in early January and peaking at 635 in the week of January 22. Active users showed a slight decline from 234K to 189K throughout the quarter, with a notable drop to 186K in late February.

Microsoft Start: News & more experienced a significant spike in downloads to 1.99K in mid-February, up from 150 at the beginning of January. Active users also saw an increase, starting at 1.49K and hitting a peak of 3.27K in mid-February before stabilizing around 2.23K by the end of March.

Quora: the knowledge platform maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 118 to 220. Active users showed a positive trend, rising from 5.2K in early January to 7.7K by the end of the month, and then stabilizing around 7K towards the end of the quarter.

The Narendra Modi App had a varied download pattern, with a peak of 378 in mid-February. Active users, however, saw a decline from 2.05K in early January to 424 by the end of March.
